Coordinator, First Friday Art Walk
Please join us in Old Town Pocatello, Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. to celebrate and support our regional artists and the Old Town merchants during First Friday Art Walk. Plan to stay and have dinner at one of our delicious restaurants and listen and dance to live music.
The Citizens Community Bank Old Town Trolley will be back out and the evening will be full of art, food, fashion and music.
Old Town Pocatello, 420 N. Main, There is a new piece of public art at the Old Town Pavilion. We are excited to be participating in Hello, Flower a new interactive public art project. Only a handful of cities across the U.S. were selected to participate. Stop by the Pavilion during Art Walk, the trolley will be running, and come visit our Flower. Bring your smart phone because this piece is interactive using text messaging.
Historic Warehouse District
Portneuf Valley Brewing, 615 S. 1st, to exhibit photography by Patti Ford. Live music in the loft with The Carolina Reapers, an Indie Rock band. No Cover.
The Museum of Clean, S. 1st, will feature Quilts and fabric art from the ladies at GRANDMA’S SEW N’ SEWS.
Eastside Old Town
The Gallows, 140 S. 4th, to host Stacie Barker ShanEll Johns and Mike John’s plus Kate Fornarotto representing the Fine Arts.
Westside Old Town
The Shady Lady at 655 N. Arthur will be showing “A Wonderful Word of Animals” art work by Ron Lewis.
Pocatello Co-op, 515 N. Main, to host artist will be Laura Zuber, with her Wine Bottle Creations
Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main, will host the “Creative Visions” Show,
art that is “out-of-the-box”. Bill Obrien, guitarist, will be performing
Mr. Vaughn’s Emporium 326 N. Main, will be showing quilted works by Mary Malone.
Trinity Episcopal Church, at the corner of Arthur Ave. and W. Lander St. will be featuring their beautiful, historic stained glass windows. Brochures and tour guides will be on hand and refreshments will be served
Great Harvest Bread, 250 N. Main will host, Morgan and Peyton McGarry from Grace Lutheran school!
Treasure’s Formal Bridal and Tux, 149 N. Main, to showcase original Sparkle and Stone Jewelry by Amy Campbell.
Old Town Mercantile & Antiques, 134 N. Main, will have two photographers, Jason and Lance, joining us. There will also be live music by LuAnn from the Hot Flash Band
Gate City Fine Art Gallery 315 W. Center, will be hosting a local artist Dan Lewis, painter and sculptor.
Black Rail Antiques and Collectables, 312 W. Center, will be hosting painter Mary Romasko, with music by Bob Forest.
DeckadencE Board Shoppe, 326 W. Center, will be hosting Graffiti artist Dre Munsell
Mind Your Own Beadness, 103 S. Main, will present a musical night, Bob from Soul Full of Blues will play along with Caleb from Best by Yesterday. Perhaps some surprise guests. Wendy Allen will present Pure Romance. Walter Kindle will display his fabulous Artwork. Food, Drinks, and Fun for All.
The Orange and Black Store at 123 S. Main, will have Henna artist Cheyenne Wojcik.
The Paper Doll, 119 S. Main in the Whitman Hotel, will be featuring will be Hadlee Harris. Hadlee creates beautiful art using sharpies, Copic markers, and colored pencils.
The Elks Club, 410 S. Main, will be showing photography works by Tod Krumenacker, as well, musician Henry Gonzalez will be playing in the downstairs lounge. Dinner will be offered from the kitchen menu from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
