Coordinator, First Friday Art Walk
Check out some of the Old Town haunts during First Friday Art Walk, this Friday from 5-8pm. Stroll through Old Town and the Historic Warehouse District and enjoy the festive art, live music, fashion, and food. The Citizens Community Bank Old Town Trolley will also be available providing rides to each area of Art Walk until 8pm. After Art Walk, be sure to stay for dinner. Old Town is the center for International Cuisine. Our restaurants are all locally owned and operated and you can taste the difference! Menus include Japanese, Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern, and Indian, just to name a few. Try something new or enjoy your favorite dish in Old Town Pocatello!
Historic Warehouse District
Portneuf Valley Brewing, 615 S. 1st, will be sporting a new photography show by Linda Groom in the dining room. Entertainment that evening will kick off in The Loft at 9pm with a new up and coming young duo that call themselves, Madronna. No cover.
The Museum of Clean, 711 S. 2nd Ave., will showcase the talents of the photography students of Wendy Roberts, Just Hold Still Photography in the art gallery. Meet the photographers and they will tell you how they got their awesome images!
Eastside Old Town
The Gallows, 140 S. 4th, will host artist Terri (Kate) Campbell showing her works in mosaic.
Westside Old Town
The Shady Lady at 655 N. Arthur, will be showing “Halloween Icons” by Ron Lewis and serving Magical Brew and Horrifying Treats!
Pocatello Co-op, 515 N. Main, will host Zoopsia, Pat Bingham, her wonderful card creations, prints, and paintings.
Muse Boutique & Salon, 501 N. Main, will host for their terrified guests to a spooky soiree, a Haunted Halloween Party, complete with a frightful masked fashion show at 6:00 pm, 6:30 and 7pm featuring deadly but delightful Fall Fashions available exclusively at Muse. Stylists Cassie Hughs & Celica Rascon will add spooky twisted tangles with eerie make-up masks. Muse has conjured up a menu worthy of a mad scientist, complete with decadent potent potions, poisons and delightfully wicked treats to tantalize your pallet. Enter if you dare.
American Family Insurance, 427 N. Main, Suite A, will be showing new photographs by Anne Merkley.
Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main, is hosting the annual Idaho Watercolor Traveling Show, exhibiting winning watercolorists from all over Idaho. The Legacy project
will also be featuring art from past watercolorist Richard Bird, Blaine Gasser and Deanne Hally.
Katz Kreationz & Crafts, 326 N. Main, will feature Lacy Turner, a local spray paint artist. Her display will be outside but be sure to go in and take a peek at Katz’ new store and see the expanded craft section.
Main Street Music, 401 N. Main, will feature Brian Chapman with his hot-rod art and caricatures.
Trinity Episcopal Church, at the corner of Arthur Ave. and W. Lander St. will host the paintings of Daav Corbet. His collection will be centered on prayer. Refreshments will be served.
Old Town Mercantile & Antiques, 134 N. Main, will be hosting Calista Ward, an Illustrator and Fine Artist. Please stop in for a fun evening!
Molinelli’s Jewelers, 126 N. Main, will feature Rare and Valuable Gems from Around the World, a trunk show by Parle.
Cynthia Louise Boutique, 123 N. Main, will be hosting amazing art from Carolyn Purnell and music by Lou and Carol with Americana fiddle, mandolin, vocals and keyboards. An amazing night for sure.
Studio 118, 118 N. main, will be featuring new metal work by Pam Lawson, Jan Smith and Celeste Otasua.
Gate City Fine Art Gallery 315 W. Center, will host local artists.
Black Rail Antiques & Collectibles, 312 W. Center, will feature music by Keith Ward and vintage and antique art work.
The Orange and Black Store at 123 S. Main, will feature autumn themed works from local artists. Refreshments will be provided.
The Paper Doll, 119 S. Main, will host musician Henry Gonzalez.
Mind Your Body, 234 S. Main, will feature Kay Hall and Marie Hochhalter providing acrylic paintings and paper art. A talented duet of artistic products for viewing and purchasing. Mickie on acoustic guitar will also be filling the studio with wonderful soothing voice the entire evening. Circle Salsa at 7:45pm with free dance lessons and free mini massages.
